Ashraff Jinnah holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Naval Architecture from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
He began his technical career in a leading Marine & Offshore Shipyard as a Naval Architect specializing in structural design and worked on the company’s proprietary deepwater offshore vessel designs from 2013 to 2016. Thereafter, he served as a Marine Surveyor in Jinnahco and has had extensive experience in matters involving Marine Operations, Marine Engineering and Cargo Operations/Disputes. Ashraff also possesses sailing experience on aluminium-hull patrol vessels with the Singapore Police Coast Guard and holds a valid MPA Pleasure Craft License.
In addition to the above, Ashraff is presently pursuing his Juris Doctor (JD) with the Singapore Management University and has interned with the Dispute Resolution Department of Watson Farley & Williams LLP at their North American Office (New York City), assisting the team on various Aviation & Maritime related matters during his stint in the United States.
