Director of Operations & Principal Marine Consultant Sam Jinnah commenced his career in the Maritime Industry in 1972 joining Neptune Orient Lines as an Officer Cadet. With a cumulative total sea-going experience of 12 years, Sam is an experienced Chief Officer who has sailed on board various types of merchant vessels such as Container Vessels, Bulkers, Tankers & General Cargo vessels. Following his return to shore, Sam started Jinnahco a Timber Trading company in addition to him practising as a Marine Surveyor with SGS Testing & Controls Services Pte. Ltd.(1990-1995) and later on with Matthews-Daniel International Pte. Ltd. (1996-1999). Sam later started his own Maritime Surveying Practice by creating the Marine Services Division in Jinnahco International Services Pte Ltd in 2006. With his extensive experience as a Merchant-Fleet Deck Officer, Marine Surveyor and Timber Trader, Sam is extremely experienced in various facets of the Maritime Industry’s operational & business practices. Sam has also been appointed by various international and local law firms such as Rajah & Tann, Gurbani & Co., Clyde & Co. etc. to provide Expert Reports and also appearing in the capacity of an Expert Witness on various marine-related litigation and arbitration matters.
